Cllr Lewis Mills and Cllr Greg Reynolds we’re invited to meet with the management of the Redrow Development in Bramley to announce the winners of the Street Naming Competition that both Bramley Grange Primary School and Ravenfield Primary Academy took part in.

The competition took place earlier in the year when Redrow asked Lewis and Greg to help with naming the new streets. The Councillors thought it would be an excellent idea to involve both local primary schools and run it as a competition.

🥇 We had some fantastic entries from both schools and managed to pick 6 worthy winners which are; Remembrance Way, Poppy Mews, Bloom Gardens, Dandelion Avenue, Falcon Road and Woodland Walk.

👏🏽 We’d like to say a huge thank you to both schools for taking part and helping the Councillors out with their conundrum.

📚 The Councillors would also like to say a huge thank you to Redrow for making us all feel so welcome, for the excellent breakfast and for supplying the winners with a pen set, gift bags and a book voucher.

👀 Lewis and Greg also took the opportunity to view the show homes and see how the development is progressing.

🗣️ Lewis said “The young people at both schools have been fantastic in thinking of potential names for the site. The street names will be here forever and will be a great memory for them all. Thank you to everyone involved.”

🗣️ Greg said “We had some fantastic entries from the children at both schools and what a great competition to take part in. The street names will be here for a lifetime and these worthy winners should be very proud of themselves.”
