Thurcroft and Wickersley South Councillors are thrilled to have hosted Local Democracy Week at Thurcroft Infant School! 🤩

Our future leaders got a taste of democracy as the school children cast their votes for their school council members. 🗳️ Young campaigners showcased their enthusiasm for positive change.

And the best part? Councillors were delighted to award Thurcroft Infant School with £250 in book tokens for their very first council project - choosing which books to add to their library! 📚📖

Let's nurture a love for learning and civic engagement from a young age. 🌟👦👧
