Following residents raising concerns regarding the overgrown and neglected grass banking on East Bawtry Road, Cllrs David Fisher and Simon Burnett and community campaigner Paul Thorp were thrilled to see the long overdue work finally taking place this week. Alexander Stafford MP was also delighted to see what has been achieved in improving the look of the area on behalf of residents.

Councillors have been informed that if soil conditions are suitable, additional seasonal planting may be possible to enhance the area.

Rotherham’s key gateways should be showcased to instil pride back in the area.
